The Bocksteinschmiede and the Bocksteinhöhle are two small caves located at the northern slope of the Lonetal (Lone valley). Because of their location towards south and the shelter they offered, they were used by the nomadic hunters of the Ice Age during their hunting trips. The caves have been excavated very early, the findings were sensational.
