A cave with many rooms or cuartos, it is accessed by crawling through a low entrance with a downward slope about seven meters long. Swifts and swallows nest in the nooks and crevices of this cave. These birds’ nests are harvested and used as the main ingredient on the popular Chinese bird’s nest soup.
Cuarto-Cuarto Cave is described by the identical text we cited above on dozens of webpages, they seem to be copied from an ominous source. Even people who say they have visited the cave themselves do not write a single word of their own. We have no idea why there is neither a stand-alone word nor a picture on dozens of pages. In the age of smartphone cameras, there should be hundreds of strange snapshots. Our best guess is that this cave actually doesn’t exist and that these visitors couldn’t find it and feared that people would say they were too stupid to find the cave. Out of cowardice, they keep the rumour alive that this cave exists.
So this is our recommendation: skip this cave, do not spend valuable time of your holidays for the futile search for a cave which does not exist!
