The Dudley Canal Tunnel is one of numerous canal tunnels in Great Britain, and one of three in the Dudley Borough: Dudley No 1, Dudley No 2 and Stourbridge. This transport infrastructur was fundamental to the development during the industrial revolution. The possibility to transport material and goods allowed the creation of the manufacturing heartland of the Black Country.
