长生洞 (Changsheng Dong) is located near the top of the mountain. It has a huge entrance portal and a bronze statue of a phoenix in the small square in front of the cave entrance. The phoenix named "Danfeng Chaoyang" is spreading its wings and about to fly. The phoenix is the totem of the Mulao people and several places are named after it. On rainy days and in the morning, fog appears around the stalagmites in the entrance hall.
According to legend, the Changsheng Cave was a palace built by the longevity star of Antarctica in the human world five thousand years ago.
