Description

The Cavernas El Sauce tour is cave trekking, and probably the most provessional venue we found in Argentina. Visitors are educated, fully equipped, and safely guided through a nice cave. The tours are organized by the speleologists Sebastián Ceballos and Alicia Vinovo. While the cave is a karst cave, the speleothems are quite exceptional. Most of the walls show impressive erosional forms, but almost no common stalactites and stalagmites. But on the tour you will see impressive and quite rare spelethems in abundance. The cave Cavernas El Sauce (Sauce Caves) is located at a farm, which is located in the middle of the Cordoba hillcountry. The best way to get there is following your navi. Its actually only 4 km west of the city La Falda.
