Östergötland County in southeastern Sweden is mostly lowland which is used for agriculture. There is not much with underground sites, no karst and no resource which were mined. In the southern part the south Swedish highlands begin, with hills and countless lakes, the northern parts are also hilly, but dominated by forests. The rare caves in those hills are of neotectonic origin.
