The Podul Natural (Natural Bridge) is really impressive, and this natural bridge is used by a normal road, the country road from Aramá to Balta. In other words, you can drive with your car across a bridge formed by nature. This is the remains of a cave system, the ceiling of the cave passage is eroded and just a short piece remains in place. The bridge is about three times as wide as the road and rather massive.
This place offers a wide range of different karst features. On one side is the valley of the Lacu Záton and on the other side is huge doline. The Pestera de la Podul Natural is located on the far end of this doline, so there is actually a huge part of the cave system remaining. And nearby is also the area called Lapiezuri, an impressive karren field.
