Description

Cueva Golondrinas (Swallows Cave) is a huge sea cave with sandy floor. The cave is best visited during summer (JUL to SEP) at low tide. During the winter months it is not accessible, waves swell into the cave entrance. The waves on the north coast can be rough and there is the danger of riptides. Swimming at this beach is discouraged.

Actually there are two Swallows Caves, one at Isabela and one at Manati, they are often mixed up. It is located at the foot of the cliff below the Royal Isabela resort. Generally it is accessed from the Playa Pastillo, Coto
