Description

Caverna de Lemchanda is a semi-wild show cave. There is no light and more or less no trails inside, but there are wooden ladders at the steep sections. The cave is located off the road and a hike is necessary to reach it. There is wet cave clay on the floor so gum boots are mandatory, also helmets with headlight. We strongly recommend to bring your own. The cave guide not only explains how to manage the cave tour, he also explains how to make the necessary offerings for the gods of the cave. However, the tour is only in Spanish. The cave is gated, the guide is mandatory.
