History

Description

Asconi Winery is actually a huge winery, a hotel, a restaurant and a tourist destination at the same time. As it is intended for foreign tourists, the name is actually in English, this is not a translation. The winery offers Wine Tour & Tasting, which are both underground and above ground. This is a modern winery, and while it has historic cellars and the red wine is actually matured in 225 litre oak barrels in the cellar , there are also huge stainless steel tanks above ground for the white and rose. The winery has French grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat, but also Riesling, Malbec, Pinot Noir and many more. The winery is rather big, producing more than 3 million bottles per year.
