Description

Folkklubs Ala Pagrabs (folk Club Cave Cellar) is a pub located in a historic wine cellar deep below the streets of Riga. It is famous for regular concerts of Latvian folk and world music, traditional and modern Latvian cuisine, and Latvian dance evenings. Live music is played at least 5 nights per week. The pub is called Ala by the locals, which translates "cave", although it is obviously not a cave. It offers one of the widest ranges of draft beer produced in Latvia, some 30 different draft beers, homemade kanju, Latvia's best house wines, Mūrbūdu cider, and a very wide selection of ecological teas.
