Description

Kana Raja's Cave is a little mysterious. There are numerous websites listing the cave, but it is unclear if it is a natural or artificial cave, where it is located or what it looks like. In general the fact that the cave is "neglected by the authorities" is lamented. Some tell it is the largest cave in South Asia, others tell it is 300 years old and was dug by the pirate Kana Raja to hide his loot. Pictures available on the net show a natural river cave and an ice cave in Europe(?), others show one of the numerous gorges. Some give the location a Cox's Bazar, others south of Inani Beach which is 25 km south of Cox's Bazar. Probably this is a fake cave, some sort of joke the beach goers at Cox's Bazar make.
