Cueva de la Orquidea (Orchid Cave) is actually a show cave, not one of those cave trekking adventure extrem sport venues which torture their participants for a substantial fee. This site is the opposite, it has nice trails through the caves, with railings, electric light, and even guided tours. There is a small park in the middle of the city Xalapa-Enríquez, with an orchid garden on the surface and a show cave below. That's pretty rare, and it's actually the only show cave in a capital city in Mexico. And then they ruin it all by installing coloured light. Pretty kitschy. Avoid.
