Description

Cenote Chaachab is probably the newest cenote in Yucatán, it is not visible on Google Street View which is from 2024. In other words, it is still in the process of being developed, and not yet widely known. However, it seems to be quite spectacular, a huge underground lake in a vast chamber with numerous holes in the ceiling. Quite impressive around noon, when the sunlight illuminates the lake. However, as it is so young there is still not much to find online, the site is not listed on portals, and actually we do not know if it really exists or if it is a hoax. So if you visited the site please drop us a note, a short review, with some background information.
