History

Description

The Habis Caves are a series of cave houses dug into the limestone above the valley. They are said to be hermits caves. According to local legend they date back to Roman and Byzantine times. The caves are rather inaccessible in the almost vertical cliff, but all caves are connected by tunnels. They are said to be partially natural and partially man-made.
