History


Description

This sea cave is entered by boat, boat tours are available from nearby fishing villages. The boats go in for about 60 m, until they reach a sandy beach. Another 60 m of cave can be visited by foot. The cave is inhabited by bats.

A legend tells, that an Ainu chief called Chipa, who was related to Yoshitsune, hid weapons and treasures here.
