History

Description

Litli Björn - Vörðuhellir is a cave system which is the result of connecting two caves, Litli Björn and Vörðuhellir. The two sections of the same lava tube were originally explored separately, hence the different names. But when the connection was found it became a cave system with a double name.

The connection is low and narrow, so this tour requires crawling. It is not suitable if you have issues with narrow spaces. The adventure includes equipment, introduction, drive to the cave walk to the cave entrance, cave tour. Bring sturdy walking shoes, old clothes, gloves, probably knee pads.
