Description

Cova Foradà or Cova Foradada is an archaeological site with remains of Neanderthals. During excavations in 2010 an almost complete skeleton of a Neanderthal was found. It is the most complete skeleton ever found in Spain with the bones still attached to the spine. The excavations were led by José Aparicio Pérez from the archaeological department of the Provincial Government of Valencia.
