History

Description

The Diamante Falls is said to be the highest waterfall of Puerto Rico. Of course, we do not list waterfalls, but we list caves behind waterfalls. And in this case the cave behind the waterfall is used for a restaurant and as a hotel. So you can book a day trip from your hotel, or an overnight stay. You will sleep rather dry but very basic, with a matress on the floor, and getting there is a feat: the 2 km sharp ascent means an hours sweating. If you stay overnight, you have to carry anything you need for this purpose on your back. Obviously this offer is intended for sportive tourists, it includes abseiling and climbing, and a barbeque at the open fire in the evening.
