Description

大安洞 (Daean-dong, Da'an Cave) is one of numerous sights on this mountain ridge. It is also known as 鱼泉洞 (Yú quán dòng, Fish Spring Cave). There is a tiankeng, numerous trails along escarpments and on top of ridges, trails with glass floor, glass floor skywalks, enormous swings and other theme park rides. The ridge is reached by bus and with cable cars, enormous parking lots were built in the valleys for thousands of cars. The whole site is developed as a theme park. The main feature is obviously the outlook down into the gorge, the river is 600 m deeper. But the show cave and the tiankeng are only staffage, they are the less spectacular parts of the park, and we guess most visitors will visit the more spectacular rides. But even a small percentage of the park visitors is a big number of cave visitors, so this is obviously one of the well visited caves. All those sights are part of the Yunyang Longgang Scenic Area which is also called Longgang National Geopark.

The cave is located at the northern end of the road. It is entered through an artificial tunnel down a long staircase. The cave has a huge passage with nine chambers. The cave has fine speleothems, mostly stalagmites. It is lighted very colourful, but there are well developed concrete trails and handrails.
