Description

Ana Kakenga (Two Windows, Twin Window Cave) is one of the most visited caves on Rapa Nui, the Easter Island. It is an Ana Kionga or a cave of refuge, where people could hide when there was a fight between tribes. The cave is quite difficult to find, as most people expect a large cave portal. Actually it is a ver short crawl, only a few meters, but its necessary to crawl in. This is artificial, placing slabs of rock around the opening was intended to disguise the cave and make entry more difficult.
