Grotte Marie-Jeanne (Marie-Jeanne Cave) is located in Port-a-Piment. The cave system is the longest cave known in Haiti with a total length of 5.3 km and four different levels. It has nine entrance in total, three of them are noteworthy, Grotte Cactus, Grotte Goudron, and La Grande Grotte. They are also open to the public for cave trekking tours, but as they include vertical pits of several meters, they require equipment, physical fitness and climbing experience. The tours can vary between one and four hours length and in difficulty, depending on the wishes and abilities of the visitors.
