Che Chem Hah is one of numerous caves in Cayo District. It is a recent discovery by two local farmers during a hunt. They soon found dozens of old clay pots. This pots are about a thousand years old and were probably used for ceremonial purposes or for grain storage. The exact date is not known as the Department of Archaeology (DoA) has not yet conducted an official excavation. Most of the pots are still at the original place, but some of them were moved to the DoA in Belmopan.
A visit to the cave includes numerous physical activities, so it is only suitable for physically fit visitors. It is necessary to walk have an hour to the cave. The cave tour itself contains numerous climbs of wooden ladders leading up to balconies.
