History

Description

Smuggler's Cave is a small karst cave in the transition to become a sea cave. The cave is located at a cliffside beneath an abandoned and ruined house. A ramp cut into the rock down to the house gives easy access to the cave. There are holes in the cave wall which suggest some kind of human alteration, probably connected to the ruined hous nearby. However, there is no evidence of smugglers, the name is just a result of overboarding imagination.

The cave is close to the exit of Hatchet Bay Cave and best visited in combination.
