Description

八重洲地下街 (Yaesu Chikagai, Yaesu Shopping Mall) is a large underground shopping mall located in Yaesu, Chūō, Tokyo. It is named after Yaesu Avenue where it is located. It is nicknamed ヤエチカ (Yaechika), the name is even used for their domain, so it's the name we use here too. It extends between Tokyo Station and Sotobori Dori, and connects them underground. There are about 120 shops and 60 restaurants and cafés.

The mall is freely accessible all year around the clock. It is access to public transport with the same open hours. Nevertheless, the shops are typically open between 10 and 20, so this is the best time to visit the mall. However, business hours may vary by shop, and restaurants generally have different open hours.
