La Cueva de Ben Loman is a karst cave with Maya remains like pottery. Numerous tour group leads parties to the cave, which is described as being easy. It is located on the northwest shore of the Southern Lagoon, inside one of the limestone foothills which reach upward from the flat floor of the savanna. It is noted for its stalagmite and stalactite formations.
