Trang Province is named after its Capital, the 50,000-inhabitants city of Trang. This region is not discovered for mass tourism by now, and so it is a sort of insiders' tip. The beaches are extraordinary and still mostly visited only by locals. Numerous resorts along the coast and on the islands offer accommodation.
The whole area has typical limestone rocks, and obviously a lot of caves. Many of them are open to the tourist, although there is no true show cave. The closest to a show cave is Tham Khao Kop, which is visited by boat.
