Lombardia


Lombardia (Lombardy) is an administrative region of Italy in the north, at the border to Switzerland. It extends from the Southern Alps to the plains of the river Po. In those plains it has numerous large cities like Milan. The caves are located in the limestone ridges of the Alps, as well as the mines and subterranea. Although there are many caves in the area, there are only four show caves. But there are many quite interesting show mines.
