Occitanie


Occitanie (Occitania) is the merger of the former regions of Languedoc-Roussillon and Midi-Pyrénées. As those regions differ greatly in their geographical and geological situation, this region makes only sense in a political context. We have thus split it into subregions which correspond more or less with the geological situation. A partial overlap with the borders of départements is accidental.
