Uberaba UNESCO Global Geopark


Uberaba UNESCO Global Geopark is located in a region which is known as Cerrado. The geology offers volcanic remains from the breakup of the Gondwana supercontinent in sedimentary rocks which are rich in fossils. So the seven geosites are one of those types. In other words there are no underground sites in the list of geosites. But actually a single cave is in the area covered by the geopark, even if it is not on the list of geosites, we listed it here.
