History

Description

The Knadel Cave Tour is a cave trekking tour offered by local cavers. Caving equipment is provided, also the transfer to and from the cave with a minibus. A good level of physical fitness is required, but no previous knowledge of caving. The trip is offered for groups of up to 6 persons, but there is no possibility to join a group. Tickets must be purchased online in advance.

Ghar Knadel (Knadel Cave) is known for a long time. There are several legends told about the cave, which are explained at the tour. An introduction into basic caving techniques and some geologic background about the formation of the cave and its speleothems is also included. The actual cave trip take four to six hours.
