Sogn og Fjordane is named after the spectacular fjords, like Nordfjorden, Førdefjorden, and Sognefjorden. The longest fjord is Nærøyfjord, which is located in the south of the county, and is listed by the UNESCO WHL. It is famous for spetacular glaciers like Jostedalsbreen, in the Breheimen mountain range.
There are few underground sites, but there are glacier caves, show mines and even a tectonic cave worth visiting.
