Wonders of Wildlife is a interactive museum about fish and wildlife. It is also called the National Fish and Wildlife Museum and Zooquarium. The main exhibit is a series of wildlife habitats showing 225 species of live animals in realistic habitats. In other words: there are replicas of numerous habitats, and one of them is a cave. The original to the cave replica is Tumbling Creek Cave, that is why we listed the Museum under this name.
Tumbling Creek Cave is located between the Field Station and the Tall Tales Camp exhibit. The cave looks as natural as possible, with wet walls, evidence of springs coming through fissures, and the sounds of dripping water. The walls look like natural rock with stalagmites and stalactites, there are narrow spaces for children to explore. Dioramas explain the habitat and the wildlife of the cave. Even a living bat colony exists.
