Description

The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum (ASDM) is a combination of zoo, natural history museum and botanical garden. This private museum has exhibits in botany, zoology, and geosciences, where the visitor feels like a part of the environment. It concentrates on the Sonoran Desert, which is an arid region covering parts of the United States and México.

The entrance to the artificial cave appears like a dry canyon or wash. The cave itself consists of a dry cave and a wet cave. There are dioramas of rocks, minerals and ming and a crawlway. The formations are made of fiberglass or a special cement. They look really realistic.
