The Schiele Museum of Natural History has a new exhibit called Caves, which is an 80m long cave replica. The exhibit has lots of twists and turns, replicas of all kinds of formations, but also geologic specimens. The cave is the environment to more than 40 live animals, including bats, salamanders, snakes, trout, a raccoon and two baby bobcats, all of them cave related animals. There are hands on activities for children, including to dress as a caver and to visit mini caves.
The exhibition will be open only until December 2011.
