1974		Turrell found Roden Crater.
1977		Turrell bought the volcano and began the development.
2003		planned inauguration.

Description

Roden Crater is an art work, somewhere between artificial cavern and architecture, spaces impressing the visitors with sound and light. In a volcano crater in Arizona, the artist James Turrel built his dream and the sculpture of his life.
