History

Description

This cave was first seen by Powell and his companions, as they were travelling down the Colorado. He estimated, this cave would be big enough to seat 50.000 people!

This large cavern seem to be an erosive river cave in sandstone, made by the Colorado River. The ground of the cave is sand, also a remains of the river.
