Wat Suwan Kuha is a monastery with numerous caves, which were transformed into cave temples. Thats why it is generally called Wat Tham (Cave Temple) by the locals. Tham Yai (Big Cave) is the entrance to the complex, a huge 40m long and 20m high cavern dominated by a golden 15m long Reclining Buddha. On the other side of the cavern a trail lead uphill to more caves with stalactites, stalagmites and numerous Buddha statues, called Tham Jaeng, Tham Meud, and Tham Kaew.
