Beneath the great pyramid of Quetzalcoatl there are 8 km of tunnels, some with recently discovered frescoes. The museum near the tunnel entrance has copies of these frescoes. The originals are not shown to the public. Guides are recommended as there are no signs inside. Some of the guides speak English. Text by Tony Oldham (2004). With kind permission. |
