Cenote Escondido has steep walls, but not the vertical cliffs other conotes have. It is more like a lake with steep shores, 40m long and up to 5m wide. There are areas with sweet water and areas with salt water in the cenote. Many tropical fish live in the cenote and it is ideal fir swimming and snorkeling. There are even cabins and showers.
