Cueva de Gualicho is famous for Indian cave paintings, which cover the walls of the cave with hand impressions men on horse back. They have been dated to 4000 BC. On the surrounding cliffs there are copies of cave paintings from different parts of the country. The name Gualicho is the Tehuelche word for God.
