|17th cty||Jens Langkniv, a famous highway man and his people used the mine as a refuge.|

Daugbjerg Kalkgruber is a chalk mine, where chalk for lime-burning was mined. Today the mine is used for cheese, wine and food storage. A shop offers those products for sale. The mine is a famous hibernating place for bats.
