History

Description

The Caves Bernard-Massard are located at Grevenmacher, on the western side of the Moselle river, which belongs to Luxembourg. They offer tours into their cellars, which include a few glasses of sparkling wine (for adults only) and a visit to the shop afterwards.

The tour starts with an audio-visual show explaining the so-called Méthode Traditionnelle. Then the cellars are visited, which shows all steps of the process. The price depends on the number of glasses of wine included in the wine tasting afterwards. Children get a glas of grape juice.

The cellars are located at the main road of Grevenmacher, the rue du Pont, which leads across the bridge to Germany. But parking lot and entrance is from the road along the Mosel river, Route Du Vin, right below the bridge. There is also the domain, a beatuiful building with numerous halls and ballrooms which are available for receiptions and other events. A litte north of Grevenmacher on the road along the Moselle lies the Jardin des Pappillons (Garden of Butterflies) which - as the name says - is an aviary with hundreds of exotic butterflies fly on 500m².
