Cheondong cave, named after the village it is located at, is a very recent discovery. It was found in 1977 by a local and declared a National Monument in the same year. It is located between Pirobong Peak and YonHwabong Peak, the main peaks of Mt. Sobaeksan.
Only 470m in length this cave is famous for the delicacy and beauty of its speleothems.
