Cserszegtomaj barlang is a famous new discovery located in the small village Cserszegtomaj (1523 inhabitants). It is among the ten longest caves of Hungary and famous for its speleothems. Although this cave is not developed, and acess is restricted, it may be visited by groupos after appointment. The visit is a little difficult, as it includes a descent through a 52m deep artificial shaft, which is 1.2m in diameter. It seems this cave was discovered when digging a well, and it was named after the village and the well.
