Location: Flores, El Petén. Located right outside of Flores to the south. Follow the road right off the Flores causeway through Santa Elena, take the left fork at the edge of town, then go right.

Description

Legend has it that the Actun Kan Cave was the home to a giant serpent, and is sometimes called La Cueva de la Serpiente. This cave has some lights, and rock formations of animals can be seen as well as a waterfall, bats, and the stalactites and stalagmites.
