The Les Caves de La Genevraie et L'Ammonite are two underground restaurants, locally called restaurants troglodytiques. They are located only 100m from the Village Troglodyte de Rochemenier, a museum of the local underground houses. The caves were created as underground quarries and used for various purposes since then. Once during the religious wars they were even a refuge.
