History

Description

Not really a cave, the Roque Saint-Cristophe is a overhanging cliff face, used as a shelter for nearly 30,000 years. It was artificially altered during the middle ages. At some times the shelter contained cave houses. Today little remains of this houses can be seen. But still the wide ledge along the cliff face is rather impressive, which runs for about 1km along the cliff.
