Use of Pictures
We get requests for the use of pictures now and then.
Its a lot of work to write the same again and again, so here is the simple
explanation about the use of pictures from showcaves.com.
If the photographer is not Jochen Duckeck, the
pictures are copirighted by the respectve photographer and you have to ask him
directly.
If you send the request to us we will forward it to the photographer, if
possible.
We will not give you any contact details and do not guarantee that he will
answer.
If the pictures are by Jochen Duckeck, there are some
simple ways to use pictures:
- If the use is non-profit or educational, you may use the
pictures following normal citation rules.
- If you need full resolution pictures the minimum fee is 80€.
- If the use is commercial the minimum fee is 80€. This fee applies
for any kind of book, magazine, calender, website which is commercial. The use
is not exclusive and resticted to the use you tell in your request.
- All other uses, eg newspapers, titlepages of magazines, use for
advertisement, a.s.f., have a higher price and require that you send a short
description of the intended use.
For any use please respect the following rules:
- If you want high resolution images, support, additional information you
have to pay the fee first. No payment no suport.
- Payment is by Euro wire transfer or paypal only, and not
with direct credit card
payment, we accept only account to account transfers.
- If you pay you will get a German invoice by email with German tax
number. There
is no tax on the pictures as I am not a professional and do not pay sales
tax.
- We try to respond immediately, but actually there is no response time.
It may take a few hours or a day to respond if someone is checking the emails
and there may be some weeks in the year when nobody checks the emails.
