The Website showcaves.com provides free information. We are not affiliated with any company or any listed cave or mine. We are not financed by any institution. However, the website is not for free, so it was financed solely by me, Jochen Duckeck.

When I discovered the possibilities of Google AdSense, I decided to add the search box and created an account. However, as a try I started to place banners on the pages. The result was very good, and allowed me to pay the website completely with the ads. So I decided to leave it that way. If you are not interested in GoogleAds Banners, there are simple ways to deactivate them. But be aware, they help to pay the (server-) rent, and there are really good ads which fit the topic of the website.

Sometimes people ask me to place ads on my website. The management of single ads is a lot of work, especially as the website is maintained manually. We also do not want to make compromises with the layout of our website. So if you want to place ads on showcaves.com, please do so using AdWords. Google allows you to place ads on certain websites, special pages, or generally on pages with certain keywords. And you may choose the price you are willing to pay.
